Cabell Assessment Information

  • As we prepare for the 2024-25 school year, we encourage you to connect with your building principal for details regarding assessments.

    This year, students in grades 3-8 will participate in English Language Arts (ELA) and math assessments, with the ELA test including a writing component. Science assessments will be administered to students in grades 5 and 8. The General Summative Assessment (GSA) testing window is scheduled for April 21, 2025 – May 9, 2025.

    For students in grades 9-11, the SAT/PSAT School Day Test will take place between April 8, 2025 - April 10, 2025.

    To access Family Portal Information and Video Score Reports for the 2024-25 results, please visit the right side of our website under West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA). Individual assessment results for grades 3-8 should be available by the end of May. You can access the Family Portal at the following link: .

    Access codes for the Family Portal were sent home with students on September 4, 2024, and also emailed to their K12 accounts. If you are unable to locate your access code, please contact your child's homeroom teacher or building principal.
